My dogs

This is my dog Patch.

This is his brother Finn.

I love love love these little dogs! They will be turning 4 in December.

Those two little dogs got me through a hard time, when I lost my beloved Bischon, Mozart.

My heart was crushed when he died. My husband found a Shih Tzu for us to adopt. He had a brother and of course I couldn’t separate them.

I was criticized once for adopting them so soon after Mozart’s death. My answer, they healed my broken heart. Yes, I miss Mozart so much it hurts. But when I look at the two puppies I saved, it makes me happy.

Not only was I hurt, but my puppy Copper was depressed as well.

We sat on the sofa for two days. I cried and he sat by my side. He refused to eat and wouldn’t play with his favorite toy. That all changed.

It didn’t take much time for him to bond with the new puppies. They were just what we needed to heal.

Instead of buying dogs/cats at pet stores, go to your local shelter and adopt. My youngest daughter adoped a senior cat, that is deaf and then adopted a kitten. I am so proud of her!

Please get your dog or cat spayed or neutered. And always love and hug your pets!
